The AXIS ART 1099 has arrived, so what's so special? You've probably heard rumors about larger ARTs in development. We've definitely been inundated with inquiries and requests, but we took our time to get this perfect and we can't be more proud.
With an aspect ratio of 10.6, the distinctive look of the ART family is taken to a whole new level, as is the performance.
The ART 999, 899 and 799 versions gave us the confidence to push the wingspan and the limits of the resulting aspect ratio further than ever before. With very subtle refinement in research and development, AXIS ART 1099 has amply rewarded us with exceptional results.
The glide is out of this world, endless, smooth and yet very fast for its size, but not at the expense of its ability to turn or pump. The low stall speeds and unexpected ease of use that characterize the smaller brothers in the ART range remain and are even improved on the ART 1099.
The ART 1099 proves once again that these low-chord, high-aspect wings are the most advanced and hydrodynamically efficient foil designs on the market today. When combined with an AXIS carbon shaft and AXIS Progressive rear wings, they offer the ultimate in friction-free riding.
A word of warning though, once you've driven the ART 1099, it's very difficult to settle for anything else. The ART 1099 was not designed for jumping.
